| Beads are ornaments that express the love of beauty and art in a culture. Creating necklaces and companion pieces of jewelry is my artwork. I combine old glass beads, semi precious stones, and antique beads from different countries in my creations. Expertise in bead making has been developed over centuries . Different countries specialize in different types of beads. Examples are hand made Ethiopian brass beads, old Czech glass beads, vintage Italian glass beads , and Kenyan batik bone beads.. I believe that beads from diverse places, when combined in a necklace, produce harmony and beauty.
