6. BRASS, BLUE CORAL AND PETRIFIED PALM WOOD.
The unusual large palm jasper stones are actually ancient petrified
wood from palm trees. The dotted patterns are characteristic of this
stone. Some of the dots perforate the stone. The colors of the
jasper stones range from burnt orange to taupe . There is a golden
effect in that the African brass has similar tones to the jasper. In
contrast there are small natural blue coral beads. The necklace
forms a flattering slightly octagonal shape when worn. The length
extends from 20 ½” to 23 ½”. The clasp is a vermeil lobster clasp on
one side and a brass chain on the other side. $275.00

7.OLD AFRICAN TRADE BEADS, VINTAGE MURANO GLASS AND
INDIAN SILVER.
This necklace is very special. It combines beads from different
places and different eras, most with a history. The large yellow blue
and rust Murano glass beads have a millifiore pattern. They were
made in Venice circa late 1800’s and used for trade in Africa. They
are called African Trade beads. Once plentiful, they are now rare
and expensive. The blue beads with a coppery glitter are mid
century Murano glass, and the Indian silver beads are old. The
blackish blue faceted kayanite and the faceted carnelian are new
and they serve to unite the old pieces. Beautiful colors - a truly
unique piece.
The length extends from 21 1/2” - 24 3/4”. If desired it can be made
shorter. The clasp is a sterling silver S hook on one side and a silver

8. VINTAGE MURANO GLASS BEADS AND STERLING SILVER.

have a necklace of mostly turquoise with some green- blue and vice
versa. Put it in the back and you have a necklace of half turquoise
and half green-blue . These beautiful vintage Murano glass beads
circa 1960 are shades of the same colors. The greener beads
have sparks of gold adventurine in them and the turquoise is
mottled to look like the stone. There is a large decorative sterling
silver S shaped clasp with a turquoise stone in the center. Length

This necklace has sparkle and luster. It is a subtle blend of gold
glass, bronze colored dyed fresh water pearl, and sparkling black
accents of Swarovski crystal. It is a double strand necklace. Each
strand is different. One is of pearl and gold beads, the other of gold
glass seed beads underlining the pearls. It has an art nouveau

blue green to a lovely soft green. Together they make one beautiful
color. It is composed of linear shards of turquoise with a centerpiece
of faceted nugget hessonite garnet in a cinnamon color. One of the
places hessonite comes from is Sri Lanka. It is sometimes called the
cinnamon stone.
